Forget the taboo of wearing white after Labor Day. That sartorial "rule" is long, null and void. Winter whites are a yes in the fashion world so go ahead and mix bone and ivory; layer cream sweaters over snow-white crisp trousers. But keep it sleek and be minimal. I suggest steering clear of contrasting white bottoms with dark winter tops: your white ensemble will loose its modern sophistication. And remember to be careful with your red wine. But just in case, keep a Tide To Go pen in your purse.
