something (semi) corporate

by jessica harshman

A summery semi-corporate look that I wore for a meeting in NYC. For me, walking in stilettos can be a feat in and of itself, so successfully navigating speed walkers and the fast-paced New York hustle was a real femme fatale experience. Nothing's more intimidating than an accomplished businesswoman who can charge down a city street in fabulous stilettos -- I aspire to be her.

After a month-long bender in NYC, I'm back in LA. But as a concluding trip anecdote: while flying back to LA I was stopped through security because my furry pink friend here, which doubles as a knuckle ring clutch, is all to reminiscent of brass-knuckles. As if I would dare risk getting blood on her.
