suited for success

As an anxiously ambitious twenty-three-year-old, the heightened sense of urgency to “make it big” as soon as possible is frequently exacerbated by the many “how-to” or “should-do” career advice articles that flood my inbox. Instead of regurgitating a pedantic list of why you need to be reading 3 books at all times or be arriving to work before and staying later than all your coworkers, I decided to put together what I think are the best words of wisdom from a few of my accomplished young professional peers.

Confidence means you’re comfortable expressing what you don’t know.

Credibility is built up over time but can be taken away in an instant.

Be smart about which parts of your persona you show and when.

Dress for the job you want, not the job you have.

Go for it, you have nothing to lose.
