Last weekend I flew to San Francisco to visit my sister and explore a city I haven't spent much time in. She lives in The Mission, a vibrant neighborhood and outdoor gallery covered in social-political narratives. With a cup of none other than Philz coffee in hand we unintentionally walked into the iconic Balmy Alley, the most concentrated collection of murals in SF. I was super excited to finally see where my sister works and meet her co-workers she speaks to highly of, and now I understand why. I don't know if I should love or hate you Optimizely, because you set the bar incredibly high. (Note to self: all future employers must have trail mix, hummus, baby bel, kombucha and chocolate covered pretzels on tap. Also, ping pong tables and treadmill desks would be greatly appreciated)
Packing for the weekend required me to think fall because summer in SF is characteristically overcast and cool. No imposition on me -- fall is my favorite season. I wore my topshop moto jacket everyday and interchanged my black Paige edgemonts with my deconstructed Paige skylines. Between walking through The Haight and Golden Gate Park, I kept it casual in my Vince loafers and 2 inch heel oxfords (similar). I also basically slept in my new favorite Nissa chain necklace, it adds effortless chic to any outfit, this will definitely be my go-to necklace this fall.
Thanks for the fabulous weekend Cara! and the photography :)
