 Just a year ago today I was writing of layers and cashmere, marveling at the incredible palette of autumn colors in Boulder, Colorado. A year later, I find my nostalgic self strolling my Los Angeles neighborhood in hopes of hearing the crunching of gold-orange deciduous leaves beneath my thigh-high Steve Madden boots. Much to my delight I’ve realized fall does exist in Southern California, although most Midwesteners would probably consider 70 and sunny a perfect summer day. For this California implant, transitioning into fall calls for bare legs and nothin’ but boots. Well duh…
