70 degrees in November? I'm not mad, that's the beauty of Boulder a guaranteed 300 days of sunshine. One day it snows a foot and then the next day the sun comes out, the snow melts away, and it feels like summer again. It only took me a mere three and a half years to realize that I should keep my summer essentials ready and accessible year round. When it came time to apply to college I had no idea where I envisioned myself. But once I visited Boulder, went up in the mountains, witnessed the impeccable weather and saw all the hotties skating around on campus, all other options instantly flew out the window. Ok, I'm done ranting about how glorious Colorado is.
My faux leather Topshop high-waisted shorts are one of the most versatile items in my closet. A few, out of many, ways I wear them are to class with sweaters or tees, out at night with platforms and tights, or my personal favorite, with my Graham & Spencer faux fur jacket and wine suede Jeffery Campbell Litas. I'm a sucker for anything with a bell sleeve so this Minkpink laced top was a no brainer. I recently saw it on sale at Shop Wasteland so if you're looking for a top to go dancing in, look no further and purchase this immediately. It looks great buttoned with a high-wasted skirt or jeans, or unbuttoned over a printed cami.
As for the two deer, this is how I found them this morning when I went to take out the trash. They were happily munching on leaves and soaking up some rays, so naturally I had to snap some pictures of the calm creatures. And the black feline is Dolce, my neighbors cat who loves to come by for a belly rub and some butter. (Although allergic, I can never resist making a precious black kitty purr).
